Midnight Margaritas (noun, pl.) -
- 1. Frozen cocktails prepared and consumed at an hour no respectable person would admit to.
- 2. A domestic ritual performed in a kitchen, at full volume, with salt on the counter and lime absolutely everywhere.
Sniff test: salted lime and bright agave with creamy coconut and a warm rum-sugar finish - cheerful, reckless, and weirdly correct.
Scent Notes (Annotated)
- Top: Fresh-pressed Lime, Salted Margarita Rim
- Heart: Blue Agave, Sun-warmed Coconut Milk
- Base: Golden Rum Sugar
The Entry
Some rituals are sacred. Others are simply effective. Midnight Margaritas is the unofficial ceremony of the late-night kitchen: freezer door open, music too loud, salt on the counter, and the kind of laughter that suggests tomorrow has been politely postponed.
Salt first. Then lime - bright, sharp, and a little smug about it. Agave follows with that clean sweetness that feels sunlit even at midnight. Coconut smooths the edges like a friend who shows up late but brings snacks. The finish is rum sugar: warm, golden, and suspiciously persuasive.
Recommended setting: When you need the room to feel brighter immediately, but you would still like it to have secrets.
Pairs well with: a kitchen that becomes a confessional after 11 p.m., sisterly chaos (affectionate, unavoidable), and one more drink optimism.
Gifting
Best for: the friend who hosts like it is a competitive sport, the spooky-season loyalist who still wants something bright, and anyone with a bar cart and opinions.
Occasions: housewarmings, hostess gifts, birthdays for people who do not need more stuff - just better atmosphere.
Care + the boring but reassuring part
- Trim wick to 1/4" before each burn
- Burn until the melt pool reaches the edges (helps avoid tunneling)
- Never leave a burning candle unattended; keep away from drafts, pets, and anything flammable
- Stop use when 1/2" of wax remains
Available in 8 oz and 14 oz. Hand-poured and marbled in small batches - each one a one-off specimen.
