These candles haven’t been poured yet. Your order is a pre-order: the candles will be made in a future production batch, then shipped once they’re ready. They are not in stock for immediate shipment. Armistice (noun) /ˈärməstəs/ —

A moment of peace. Permission to lay it all down.

An agreement between you and the rest of the day that neither party will be making further demands.

The Entry

Armistice is what happens when you stop treating rest like something that requires supporting documentation. The list can wait. The email can remain beautifully unanswered. Whatever needs sorting will still be there after you have sat down like a person instead of a pending task.

Fir needles and frozen pine bring the woodland air; eucalyptus keeps it crisp without making a production of it. Cedar and white musk settle underneath, softening the edges. It smells like stepping outside somewhere quiet — without having to locate your shoes or explain where you’re going.

Recommended setting: The hour after everyone leaves, the evening before everything starts, or any room currently carrying more than its share of the day.

Pairs well with: Closed laptops, clean sheets, and declining an invitation without submitting an essay.

MINGLES well with: Armistice burns beautifully by itself and MINGLES nicely with Reveille, Vigil, or both. Reveille brings bright citrus and spice into the woods; Vigil makes the woodland feel warmer and more settled. Place them in separate spots around your space and let their fragrances meet.

Gifting

Best for: The person who says “I’m fine” while simultaneously managing six things that are not fine.
Occasions: Thank-yous, new homes, demanding weeks, and “you’re allowed to take a minute” gestures.

Care + the boring but reassuring part

• Trim each wick to 1/4" before each burn.

• Allow an even melt pool to help prevent tunneling; follow the burn-time guidance on your candle’s care label.

• Burn on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, children, pets, and anything flammable.

• Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep burning candles at least 3" apart.

• Stop use when 1/2" of wax remains.

Available in 8 oz (single wick) and 14 oz (three wicks). Hand-poured with coconut and paraffin wax, with light grey marbling through white, in small batches — each one a one-off specimen.
