These candles haven’t been poured yet. Your order is a pre-order: the candles will be made in a future production batch, then shipped once they’re ready. They are not in stock for immediate shipment. Thank you for giving small-batch making the time it deserves — and for supporting Stack Up while you wait.

Reveille (noun) /ˈrevəlē/ —

An awakening. A call to rise, gather, and begin again.

A small uprising against the idea that the day can start without your permission.

Sniff test: An orange arrived with excellent intentions. The ginger and clove have other plans.

Scent Notes (Annotated)

Blood Orange Zest: Bright, outspoken, already opening the curtains.
Whole Clove & Cinnamon Bark: Warm spice with strong opinions about hospitality.
Candied Ginger & Amber Resin: A little bite, followed by a very persuasive reason to stay.

The Entry

Reveille is for showing up — preferably with something warm in your hands and absolutely no expectation of being inspirational before breakfast. Named for the call that brings people to their feet, it trades the bugle for orange and spice. Considerably better manners. Same general intention.

Blood orange zest leads with its whole chest. Clove and cinnamon bring the warmth, candied ginger supplies a little nerve, and amber resin makes the room feel like someone has already decided you belong here. Bright without being overbearing. Spiced without turning your living room into a seasonal aisle.

Recommended setting: Getting people through the door, getting yourself into gear, or making an ordinary afternoon feel like it has a little purpose.

Pairs well with: Open doors, second cups, and friends who show up without needing the right words.

MINGLES well with: Reveille burns beautifully by itself and MINGLES nicely with Armistice, Vigil, or both. Armistice brings a cool woodland counterpoint; Vigil adds warm, woody depth. Give each candle its own spot and let the conversation happen in the air.

Gifting

Best for: The person who always shows up — and occasionally needs someone to show up for them.
Occasions: New beginnings, thank-yous, care packages, and “we’re doing this together” moments.

Care + the boring but reassuring part

• Trim each wick to 1/4" before each burn.

• Allow an even melt pool to help prevent tunneling; follow the burn-time guidance on your candle’s care label.

• Burn on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, children, pets, and anything flammable.

• Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep burning candles at least 3" apart.

• Stop use when 1/2" of wax remains.

Available in 8 oz (single wick) and 14 oz (three wicks). Hand-poured with coconut and paraffin wax, with red marbling through white, in small batches — each one a one-off specimen.
