Shenanigans (noun, pl.) /shə-ˈna-ni-gənz/ —
- 1. High-spirited mischief; playful trouble with plausible deniability.
- 2. The moment the room stops behaving and you decide to join it.
Sniff test: bright citrus chaos with cinnamon heat and a clean peppermint snap.
Scent Notes (Annotated)
- Top: Vibrant Tangerine, Crisp Clementine
- Heart: Fiery Red Hot Cinnamon
- Base: Iced Peppermint
The Entry
Shenanigans is cheerful trouble: the kind that starts as “just a quick thing” and ends with someone laughing too hard to explain the plot. It’s citrus-forward and unapologetically loud — tangerine and clementine bursting in first, like they’ve already been invited.
Then cinnamon arrives with that dramatic, warm insistence that turns a bright scent into an actual event. Peppermint finishes it off — not candy-cane precious, but crisp and bracing, like a cold glass of water after you’ve said something you probably shouldn’t have.
Recommended setting: When you need energy in the room — or an alibi for why you’re suddenly cleaning at full speed.
Pairs well with: spontaneous plans, loud playlists, and the friend who texts “are you awake?” at an hour that suggests consequences.
Gifting
Best for: the extrovert, the instigator, the holiday-host-in-training.
Occasions: housewarmings, birthdays, “I brought a little something” visits.
Care + the boring but reassuring part
- Trim wick to 1/4" before each burn
- Burn until the melt pool reaches the edges (helps avoid tunneling)
- Never leave a burning candle unattended; keep away from drafts, pets, and anything flammable
- Stop use when 1/2" of wax remains
Available in 8 oz and 14 oz. Hand-poured and marbled in small batches — each one a one-off specimen.
